Radiolab podcast “The Great Vaccinator” honors Dr. Hilleman’s legacy

The award-winning WNYC podcast, Radiolab, is a platform for long-form journalism and storytelling, exploring topics related to science, philosophy, and ethics. The recent episode, “The Great Vaccinator,” highlighted the life and work of Dr. Hilleman. It also featured audio clips from interviews gathered during the making of HILLEMAN.

The podcast introduced listeners to Dr. Hilleman, describing his background and many achievements. It also focused on the development of the mumps vaccine, which was the most rapidly developed vaccine in history until COVID-19 vaccines came along in late 2020.
