2019 Texas Immunization Conference features HILLEMAN screening
The Texas Immunization Conference is an opportunity for The Texas Department of State Health Services to bring together health care professionals and immunization stakeholders. Conference attendees share information and discuss strategies for improving vaccination rates in the state. The Immunization Unit “seeks to eliminate the spread of vaccine preventable diseases by raising awareness of the diseases that vaccines prevent and educating the public about vaccine safety.” This year’s conference took place in Addison, Texas, October 23-25, 2019 and included a screening of HILLEMAN - A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children.
