HILLEMAN film presented at Philadelphia Immunization Coalition Conference
The VMP team presented a screening of the award-winning documentary HILLEMAN- A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children at the 2019 Philadelphia Immunization Coalition Annual Conference on October 30, 2019. The conference included updates on the most recent Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting as well as information on local hepatitis A outbreaks. Conference attendees also heard personal testimonials about the importance of vaccination from Jamie Schanbaum, a meningococcal disease survivor, and Diane McGowan, a parent advocate and member of Families Fighting Flu who lost her son to influenza.
