The film travelled to ten venues in seven states in February 2017. Host sites included - BlackRock Center for the Arts (Germantown, MD), Bloomsburg University (Bloomsburg, PA), Carnegie Hall (Lewisburg, WV), Monmouth University (West Long Branch, NJ), Montgomery County Community College (Blue Bell, PA), Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post (Brookville, NY), The Queen Theater (Wilmington, DE), Reading Area Community College (Reading, PA), The Ware Center at Millersville University (Lancaster, PA), Wayne Theatre Alliance (Waynesboro, VA).
HILLEMAN filmmaker Donald Rayne Mitchell toured with his award-winning documentary. The public screenings also included audience question and answer sessions and community engagement activities collaboratively developed by the filmmaker and the local host site. Read a blog of the tour here.
