2019 marked the 100th anniversary of Maurice Hilleman’s birth. To celebrate, the Vaccine Makers Project of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia held special events to commemorate Dr. Hilleman’s remarkable legacy.
The Delaware County Institute of Science, located in Media, Pennsylvania, hosted a free public screening of the Hilleman Film as part of their monthly evening lecture series.
The Downtown Spokane Public Library hosted a public screening of the Hilleman film as part of their book and film discussion series on September 24, 2019.
The Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success at Montana State University presented a screening of HILLEMAN - A Perilous Quest to Save the World’s Children on August 30, 2019 in honor of Dr. Hilleman’s 100th birthday.
